It kind of makes me sad how in poly amphibia art Marcy is usually third wheeling. Why is that? In Marcy at the Gates we saw she clearly has a very good relationship with Anne. And didnt Sasha literally try to kill Anne? Why would they have better chemistry? I dont know, maybe Im being autistic
>>150213296The show made the reason for this clear, Marcy’s an annoying spaz with wildly different interests than Anne and Sasha. Anne and Sasha may have been at each other’s throats at one point, but despite that they’re at least on a similar level of maturity and have the same hobbies. Marcy, by comparison, is way more immature than both of them and can’t really connect with either. In the timeskip, her friends appeared to be well put-together adults while Marcy is still the same womanchild that she was when she was 13.
