I don't remember why I ever liked this.
>>
>>150221741
because it was kind of witty and you enjoyed the 60s aesthetic of 007,
i lost all interest after the noir series.
>>
>>150221741
>What if unstable people who deserve each other got what they deserved?
Was the initial impression, but after awhile the main cast developed main cast syndrome.
>>
I always thought of it as Arrested Development the Animated Series
>>
>>150221741
because before the world went to absolute shit, you could enjoy shows about shitty people being shitty to each other and enjoying an unending string of failures
now, not so much
>>
>>150221741
You liked the first season when Archer was an absolute bastard.
Everything after that they softened him and turned him into a pussy.
That's why you no longer like it.
>>
>>150221741
I never did lol.

>Everything after that they softened him and turned him into a pussy.
You haven't seen the show in a long ass time I assume
>>
>>150221741
I liked the characters but eventually they all became someone else. Like not even in a natural way, it was like a flip of a coin and suddenly a character goes from A to B.
>>
>>150221741
I'm still mad that this is the one show to have anything to do with 20s-30s era pulp jungle adventure since fucking tailspin and it was in the shit seasons.
>>
>>150221741
Because the early season had some of the best dialogue of anything written this century.

And the art style is unique and really well made.
>>
When it was about spy stuff the show was pretty good
>>

Are you telling me you didn't like the three seasons in a row that was literally just a dream?
>>
>>150226893
I personally wouldn't have mind if it was actually written well.
>>
>>150227945
Yeah, the first one had a decent premise but went literally nowhere, the second one with adventure island is probably the best and I kinda liked it overall, and I don't even remember anything about the space one other than it ended before anything actually happened.
It really should have just been one season total at the very most.
>>
>>150221741
Only the first four seasons were worth watching. Makes sense considering the creator's past shows only lasted 2-4
>>
>>150223096
Yeah shitty people get treated as legitimate heroes now, very annoying
>>
>>150228027
I'm still a season 5 defender. I feel like it's the perfect ending and lets you sort of imagine the life Archer and Lana have afterwards.
>>
>>150221968
This, and the first three seasons felt more Frisky Dingo
>>
>>150221741
Because it's fucking awesome?
>>
>>150221968
The humor and writing is nothing like Arrested Development.
>>
>>150226287
I haven't watched all the seasons yet but for me it's the jokes. It's fucking funny
>>
>>150229311
Well Jessica Walter is basically playing the same character and the show does plenty of callbacks just like AD tends to do.
>>
>>150221741
For me, it was mostly Krieger.
>>
>>150229311
>>150230684
And just like AD, it reuses jokes to the point where they eventually subvert the joke, like Archer's voicemail pranks eventually backfiring on him when he actually needs help.
>>
It's plots could get really silly
>>
>>150230777
That's the appeal
