The design of her mansion wasnt really what I was hoping for. I was expecting a Georgian Mansion with a huge gated fence that needs a night time security guard watching it 24 hrs a day with a well paved driveway that spins in a circle.

As the show goes on they start getting new friends. When Omar (green poncho) starts hanging out more, it's actually him and JP that get along more. Kelsey of course has her girlfriend Stacks. And Craig Because he's the MC has Ice Pop crew (which feels like a network mandated Craig needs more black friends) and Wildernessa (his eventual girlfriend) So Craig worried that their friendship won't hold. On the flip side is Xavier, a kid who's friends up until now were all bought by candy or in this weird LARP game that side of the creek was into. His arc in the show eventually ended with him becoming friends with everyone in the creek. He takes a selfie of the cast, and says he'll text them all implying he now knows all their numbers.

There can always just be more creek to uncover and more unknown creek kids to meet. Slice of life shows have that angle to them and this show did. Or at least it could have. I don't know if I think the writers would have been able to make up that much material for it, but it's possible.
