>Nice work, Boy Blunder

CN wasn't really at its best during the CN City era in terms of what new cartoons were coming out, but damn if the cartoons that were still producing new episodes weren't good and the CN City bumpers themselves were fucking S-tier.

If they just showed all the classic cartoons plus a decent mix of the old school stuff then keep making CN city related crossovers that they wouldn't be dying now

It's too late to turn the tide now and even they recognize it. They should have taken the checkered past approach a decade earlier.

The problem with that is that CN City was basically a one-time commission from an Australian studio that was apparently really expensive. And yes, they animated all of the bumpers in a single batch, they just animated a FUCKLOAD of them so they had several years worth of material to slowly trickle out. And CN became incredibly cheap after the new management came in following the Boston Bomb Scare.

It's seems to be always about money and then came the beanmouth slop era

I swear, everyone in business has to be retarded. They keep cutting production costs at the expense of quality and then wondering why their business crashes and burns. It's like they never heard about that "have to spend money to earn money" thing.

Well, except Hollywood, they keep increasing costs at the expense of quality.

Executives being retarded is probably the third true assurance in life after death and taxes.

Never got this ship. They have 0 chemistry. Their relationship arc over the show was going from work colleagues to slightly more friendly work colleagues. And Robin has a clear romantic interest in Starfire. I guess in this particular instance it's less them and more their off-screen personas, but still, the guy who wrote this had to have been shipping them on some level and you would imagine they would have more on-screen chemistry if they dated in their personal lives.

One of these days I hope there's an evergreen story that adds the third bit to the saying.
>Kid, you know there are three things in life that's always a guarantee.
>I thought there were two?
>Couple of years before my time, that was right.
>So... what's the third thing?
>Executives are fucking retarded.

Because customers have never been particularly responsive to drops on quality. Hell, America in general loves low quality - your mcdonald and walmarts. It's only until the lack of investment means you miss out on a trend or two that it hits your bottom line

Context?

CNcity really just tickled your autism and ideas of all the characters interacting with one another

Every TT'03 ship is "guy you self-insert as" x "girl you think is hottest"
