Why did Plastic Man never show up in the DCAU?
>>
>In Justice League Unlimited, Plastic Man was never actually shown on-screen, and was only mentioned in the episode "The Greatest Story Never Told". According to Dan Riba, this was due to a possible Plastic Man animated series helmed by John Suriano and Tom Kenny (who also voiced Plastic Man) having been in the concept stage at the time for Cartoon Network. The series was never greenlit, however a one minute short titled "Puddle Trouble" can be viewed on the DVD release of the 1979 Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show. Despite never appearing in the series, a JLU action figure of Plastic Man was released by Mattel.

That sounds like a stretch.

The show got rejected for Johnny Test IIRC but Suriano made a bunch of Plastic Man shorts for DC Nation a few years later

>>150238652
DC had character embargoes back then so if a someone showed up in one show they couldn't show up in another. It's why Robin wasn't introduced in The Batman until after Teen Titans was cancelled
>>
They didn't need two stretchy guys
>>
>>150238849
That's silly
>>150238861
The DCAU had more than two

Probably the powerset I'd go with if given a genie wish limited only to powersets.

I mean, MAYBE the Freedom Ring, but it'd be close.
>>

Don't genie wishes usually have a catch attached to them?
>>
>>150240467
I think that's a modern affectation. Regardless, the point of the post was the powerset and not the method of acquiring it.

Fair. I can't really think of a negative to the powers regardless

I don't get it

nta, but maybe he's taking Plastic Man's powers literally. if you asked a genie to be like Plastic Man, he may make you a literal plastic man....

Heh
>>
>>150238455
Weird seeing him with black goggles
>>
>>150238455
He died on the way back to his home planet.

Hopefully he gets another chance at a cartoon soon

I thought it was for Teen Titans Go
>>

>I thought it was for Teen Titans Go
The 2005 version (Puddle Trouble) was rejected in favor of Johnny Test.
The 2012 version and other DC Nation shorts were rejected for Teen Titans Go.

I can't believe it got turned down twice
