I watched about half of unreleased season 2. 12 episodes again, it seems its a new arc every 3 episodes but this time it's focused on a specific turtle which I personally enjoy. Written a lot better too. Yes they do have the turtles tell each story but I think it's done better than in season 1. From what I've heard, season 1 wasn't even going to have that format but Seth hates the show (he apparently isn't involved with the writing of the show) and doesn't want the show to tie into the movie at all, so they had to find a way to make the show feel separate from the movie very late into production. If that answers why the show is written the way it is.
Any tidbits on other characters like April, Splinter, Bishop and the mutants that are in Season 2?
I remember awhile back that pixel dan accidentally filmed action figures of tokka, rahzar, old hob, and muckman+mutagenman fusion, and joe eyeball
>>150241119First arc is mostly about the purple dragons and raph focused. Second arc is horror themed with donnie and razhar and tokka appear, they looked pretty cool. Was told Leo is the third arc and Mikey has the last arc. Saw some designs for Leo's part of the season and they look hella sick.
>>150241738Sounds about right from what I know
>>150242126And Hob?
>>150243898I saw a similar looking character in the updated opening so possible yes
>>150240138I guess the comics are going to be hit with this too, even though those have some people from the movies working on them.
>>150245529Yeah Seth only wants the movie, his contract with Paramount makes him do all the other projects but he doesn't want any of those so the show and comics are just bastard children basically.
Nothing is worse than IDW. They can't even do story planning well. The main books storyline was also delayed to connect with the storylines of mini-comics. Jason Aaron probably wasn't "allowed" to progress the plot so he had to create Hale who is like a "filler" villain and just had him control the Foot for this short run.
>>150240138Exciting!
>>150240138It's pizza time
>>150240138What's the budget for this show compared to Rise of the TMNT?Looking at the bodies and choreography they don't seem to skip on anything , it's just that it's even more childish written except instead of being written for the cool kids who want action & explosions, it's written for the more sensitive kids who want MUH DIALOGUE and character interaction and emotional story.
