Are there any good direct comic adaptations?
Not only is it good, it's actually better than the comic it's adapting.

Recently watched these, they were mostly okay, although there seems to be a big timeskip after Throne of Atlantis that isn't acknowledged much, or they just messed up when it came to consistency.Overall the best movie is probably death to Reign of Superman followed by Son of Batman and Judas Contract. Worst is either Apokolips War or JL Dark.
