Heavy Metal is the obvious influence here, but I'd love to see series adapting 2000AD titles like ABC Warriors, Rpgue Trooper, Dredd, all the way to unrelated works like Nexus, Supreme, Big Bang, or 1963. In general erstatz efforts to adapt overlooked or bastardized characters like Blackhawk, Sgt Rock, Nick Fury, or Jonah Hex would be fun too. Imagine an animated series that looked like a Gil Kane comic!Aside from Catman, Space King, and the Big Lez spin off pickings are slim as far as new animation for men goes.
