Honest question what the hell happened to Jimenez art? I cant remember a situation as extreme as this one of lack of art quality consistency, hes been working on batman for a while and for such a big title I assume the quality should be always as good as possible

>>150243715He’s clearly burnt out and has been for years now. He’s been drawing some of the worst Batman scripts ever conceived, and that’s not even hyperbole. Man worked with tynion and Zdarsky on runs that are only slightly less reviled than King, which was indisputably the worst run the character has had in 80 years. Let alone being wasted on Snyder’s dog shit JL run before that.It’s gotta drain the man’s soul and creativity. Especially having to watch Mora gain clout drawing characters and comics Jimenez would be stellar for. But yeah his work has been pretty shoddy the past year especially.
