The animation community get mad at the internet over late-00s Nick shows because they're either "not from the 90s" or they're expecting to be just the same as these shows, which I find both areas to be hypocritical

But let's all admit, we all grew up with a lot of that shit. For me, I've been invested in Newgrounds and albinoblacksheep during the 2000s, and most shows I've watched on Adult Swim (including reruns of Family Guy, American Dad and Futurama) is mostly humor dedicated to just that, such as Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen, even right now with Smiling Friends
