what is the official /co/nsensus on Bone?
It’s awesome! And I’m sad that there will probably be no more.
Awesome. In the argument for the best comic of the 90s.
Inspired and beloved
>>150251777It's good. I'm kind of glad it's apparently unadaptable because I don't trust a y of the major studios today to do it correctly. Maybe Jeff Smith can do a Kickstarted and make it himself.
It’s good. I’m surprised it’s so popular considering the creative trend of starting a story with a goofy high-fantasy adventure and slowly turning it dark over the course of the series to mature with its audience is usually a huge filter, but I guess in a story that starts with rubberhose toons meeting fantasy humans, contrast is not as hard a sell.
>>150251777Its great, I wish we got other stories from this world.
>>150252543What about the Telltale Bone game?
Nothing really stands out to me about it, its a pretty bog standard fantasy story with exception of the protagonists looking like toons.
>>150251777This and usagi are what made me truly stop “judging a book by its cover”. Bone is great.Another one from the 90s that’s underrated is scud the disposable assassin
>>150251777I love how deep into dark and scary stuff it goes. Feels like a PG-rated Cerebus if Sim stayed sane.
>>150251777I read the (censored) Book 1 in Disney Adventures back in the day and was not impressed.
>>150252543I think it's a wonderful idea to create a full indie movie based on this comic.
>>150251777It's okay.
>>150251777Forced whimsy and kinda boring
>>150255124Fag
>>150251777Starts great, but declines as the plot progresses.
>>150251777Overall good but I didn't care for Thorn and some of the later fantasy stuff
>>150255166Queer. Yeah go read Bone after you finished buying scarves with your boyfriend. Bone sucks.
>>150255857Stop projecting
>>150251777Starts good but ends on a wet, boring fart. The build up is NOT paid off.
