How much do you agree with this sentiment?
>>150271893Not at all. Fuck evil.
>>150271912and fuck Trump!
>>150271893You weren't normal beforehand if that's all it takes. Even Falling Down, with all it's social commentary, reminds you that Michael Douglas' character wasn't a great guy prior to the movie.
>>150271893Everyone has shitty days. That's part of being human. Are you so weak you're going to let one bad day change who you are?
>>150271916You are evil and should be slain for the good of humanity
>>150271893In his case it's not the case because Joker was already not normal. However I could see that happening in a very specific scenario if a person gets pushed so damn hard that they finally snap after a sufficiently long build-up of pent up rage.
>>150271893You fags have rotten genetics + rotten lives. It took a helluva lot more than one day to turn you into the shitheads you are.
>>150272071This is a thread about The Joker.
>>150271916Joker is unironically less evil that that person you mentioned.
>>150271893If that "normal man" is a weak-minded bitch, then yeah.
>>150272514Die in a fucking liberal hellhole already you brown dick sucking whore.
>>150272598Calm down snowflake
>>150272514What Batman villain would you guys want as president?
Batman himself points out in the Killing Joke that Gordon's resolve disputes his hypothesis.
>>150271893Can it happen? Yes. Is it something that will always happen? No.
>>150272692Two-Face. There's a 50/50 percent chance he'll become a good president.
>>150272532Isn't that the point of the Joker? Both him and Batman had a "bad day" but only the Joker came out of it a monster. That's why he doesn't kill Batman, he's trying to convince himself that Batman is a monster too by his increasingly elaborate schemes, which Batman always manages to disprove
>>150272840Still better than our odds
>>150271893All it takes is one rape and the bitches calm down
>>150271893I liked the episode he had with Harlet where she squeal while he pinched her cheeks. Wish I had a girl to do that with.
>>150272840He actually has political experience as district attorney, so this is pretty fitting, actually.
Erm Jonkler bros?
>>150273117This only fits in the context of Sonic himself, Sonic is a cocky showboat who just so happens to HAVE proper morals. Scourge is basically just sonic but none of the good qualities that sonic has
>>150273117>Ha! GAAAAAAAY!Me if I were Scourge.
>>150273117Damn Sonic BTFOs the Joker
>>150273131Yes, that's the entire point. Having morals and even a small amount of decency isn't hard. This isn't complicated.
>>150271893Why wait for a bad day like a bitch-ass NYUGGA? You don't NEED no reason to fuck shit up!
>>150273117I like that 50 issues later sonic has a pretty bad fuckin day and thinks back to this page. Obviously nothing comes of it but still.
>>150273455yeah sonic comics have some real gems but its mostly ass
>>150271893If one bad day is all it took, then something terribly wrong had already been going for much longer before that day.
People act like the man/monster boundary is some one-way street. An hour next to screeching baby and I get thoughts of dashing its head open. But a warm shower and some music later, I'm affable again.
>>150272849Meh. One of the justification behind his no-kill rule is that Batman is afraid to become a mass murderer if he slip just once. A fear he projects on everyone. They're both monster as of their bad day. It's just that Joker went feral while Bruce keep himself on a tight leash (sometimes) through his outlet (Batman and his mission). It's an analogy between control and chaos.
>>150271893Joker is literally wrong in-universe. In basically every adaptation there's some story about him (or other villains) trying to prove this and failing miserably
>>150271893It's a retarded sentiment that shows zero understanding of human psychology
>>150271893batman had a bad day too. you can say he's crazy as well but in a different way
>>150273813This Anon gets it.A mafia boss could be torturing a person at one moment, and the next hour he could be in his way to his home, to tuck his kids in and kiss his wife. You can be both an absolute monster and yet a very loving and caring person. That's the danger of it all.
>>150272692Azrael or bane
>>150271893No and he should be chased by angry mobs with shotguns everytime he leaves the clownhouse
>>150273210Based
>>150271893Book of Job disproves this.
>>150271893i have had 11,688 bad days and i never turned into a monster. total bullshit.
>>150274057the book of job is bullshit because they altered the ending so god gave job back more than he took instead of leaving job a broken and destitute man like it originally did.
>>150271893For some yesFor other not. Plenty of people had awful things happening to them or went through awful times yet still turned out to be good folk
>>150272274AKA literally me
>>150272692Riddler unironically
>>150273813/thread/
>>150271893>How much do you agree with this sentiment? Not even slightly
>>150272692Ra’s for his eugenics program and his open shirt dressing code.
>>150271893For me it took a death of a relative, losing my job, losing my friends, losing my love, losing sleep and having to move.
Joker there's no real thing as "one bad day". It's called "The day I got my Freudian excuse".
>>150271893Nuh uh
>>150271893No because it's just some midwit who watched any of the "going postal" style movies and completely missed the point or any subtlety.
>>150273828>Batman is afraid to become a mass murderer if he slip just onceI think thats just bad writing done for the sake of suspense or whatever you wanna call it. The actual, more rational reasons behind it are more sensible and should be used to justify the no kill rule.I loved the animated movie with Owlman where Batman mentions looking into the abyss and the difference in how they both reacted. But shitty writers are always gonna use the cheap gimmick of writing Batman as being a hairs breadth away from going insane to build suspense cause they cant do it in a more organic way. Its like giving the main character cancer to make people emotional.
>>150271893Randomized interval electroshock takes on average 20 hours to induce lasting psychosis. So if you count that as 'one rotten day', yeah sure.
>>150271912>>150271916Based goodnesspilled and lightpilled anons
>>150271893Loved how it was shown as being wrong in TDK with the 2 boats near the end. Neither one of them blows up the other, shitting up Jokers plan while Batman dismantles his goons dressed as hostages and saves the SWAT team and actual hostages. Ledgers performance was great, but it was probably the best Batman showing in some time. The hand to hand combat could've been better, but it was a great Batman film with a lot of replay value. And the Gotham Knights animated series with it was awesome too.
Depends on the dayBut it also depends on the man
>>150271912This>>150271916Also this, disagreeing makes you a pedophile defender.NSA, track the responses to my post if you please.
>>150271893Did you not read the Killing Joke? The message was it only takes one bad day if you're weak or already loony. If you have a sense of purpose and honor, it takes way more to break you.
yeah, but I think that in most cases things work like ratadabrik said here
>>150272840Harvey Dent would make a far better President than our current Pedo in Chief.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3vpw17VXcI
Not true at all. For the day Shocker created Kamen Rider, was the day that lead to their undoing.
>>150273813This is only tangentially relevant though, everyone has intrusive thoughts, you're not a monster until you act on them. And if you do something horrible and escape consequences once, you're probably more likely to reoffend
>>150271912percisely Lin Xu Ya from Thunderbolt Fantasy has the perfect framework for handling evil. Good and evil are two immutable concepts so you don't destroy it, rather you destroy/take away the pride or a that they gd dear of those that are evil and see it driven before them in complete mockery. Also evil if anything should be seen as a means to an end if incorporating the shadow-self; a tool to be incorporated but discarded later. Examples being dark versions of characters who use that strength to amass power for good.
>>150272598Trump can suck a fat dick and be tortured and feed to sharks
>>150278373You take away the pride/what evil people hold dear*
>>150271893Wasn't there an entire episode that refutes this point?
>>150271893MOM'S GONNA FREAK
>>150272598>WAAAAHH-WAAAAHH!!>THEY TALK MEANIE ABOUT DADDY!!stab yourself in the neck you pedo piece of shitsucking off your orange pedo daddy in publickill yourself now
>>150271893no because it's stupid, even people who have had lifetimes of bad days don't go around killing people, much less a single day.the joker just wants to justify himself when at the end of the day he's just a psycho who takes joy in other people's misery, he chose to be like that the ends do not justify the means.
Really just goes to show you how unsympathetic and privileged people are that they claim to have never experienced an event that changed them in some shape or form, or that they never had a day or moment where they wanted something bad to happen to someone out of spite or hate. Can't even fathom or empathize with someone because they come from a place where nothing actually bad happens to them or they get enough support from their piers. Just looks at another person struggling and goes "They are weak, they should die" instead of helping them out.
>>150281197an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blindempathy doesn't mean you excuse bad actions.
>>150271916Have you ever considered...Tuck Frump?
>>150283000Eye for an eye would eventually lead to a one eyed man and the world of the blind...I do agree about the empathy, though.
