Howdy,I haven't read any comics or visited this board since King's Batman ended. I vaguely kept up passively for a bit until around when they turned Jon Kent into a fag and then I dropped off entirely due to disinterest.I just caught up on Absolute Batman though and I'm really liking it. Are the other Absolute books worth reading or are they not as good?

Absolute Superman is sort of interesting for what it's doing to the usual formula but I'm not entirely really sold on it yet myself. Similarly with Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. I kind of like what's going on with Flash too. Honestly they're all at least fine so far I feel and will probably each appeal a bit more or less depending on personal taste. Read whichever look interesting to you first and go from there if you enjoy them.

Waylon begs Bruce to kill him because his hunger hurts. Bruce can't, Waylon is enraged, flees into the sewer. Bruce collapses from the entire ordeal>Bruce wakes up after damn near a month in his cave, Alfred recovered him. He visits his mom, who is thankful he's alive considering what Bane did to Bruce's friends. Bruce demands to see them all.>In an attempt to "break" Bruce and make him like himself, Bane has utterly decimated his entire friend group, the first Wayne visits is Oswald in the hospital.>Bane sees that Oswald has an inferiority complex, going to the gym and wearing lift shoes, so Bane systematically broke every goddamn bone in his body to the point where he's a disfigured freak in a hospital bed who will easily lose 2 feet in height. Currently has a feeding tube.>Bane criticizes Harvey for the line he rides between the law and enabling Bruce's illegal activities. He sets him on fire, and holds Dent's face to the burning floor forever scaring him. His skull was also split in half down the middle (fixed but he will have mental trauma). A poker chip burned on one side is Harvey's "coin">Bane apparently challenged Eddie to a game, and he lost. >>150311690The issue that started drawing in mainline Superman has already stated the fate 1000 years in the future with the Legion of Superheroes being absolute loyalists of Darkseid with end-of-time Doomsday bringing up similar reveals.They did bring in Superboy Prime and people are suspecting he's doing a double agent thing with where we left off of a mass war between Legions and him seemingly betraying mainline...so chance of a recon punch opening up a window for the Absolutes to actually win. But as things stand, DC has thus far been setting this up as a doomed timeline.It will be KINO if the absolute universe still manages to break this fate with their own hands after plans made by main continuity fail and it seems their own fate is doomed. But I don't trust DC enough for that, so I'll just ride the wave for however long this lasts.
