This show is legitimately funny and well written but the art style is so repulsive.
>>150303194Be Cool felt too much like a typical adult comedy (Family Guy, American Dad, Rick and Morty.) The art style definitely felt like an adult comedy style. The series just wasn't as memorable as Mystery Inc or What's New Scooby Doo. The backgrounds really are important in the spooky feel of Scooby Doo, and "Be Cool" just didn't feel like a horror cartoon at all. I wasn't a big fan of Daphne being "quirky girl who does something new every episode" either.

I'm currently watching the egypt episode from S1 and I'm shocked by how many jokes/gags they fit into this show. it feels like its constantly going for it and i appreciate that a lot, its borderline naked gun/airplane comedy at times. most of the jokes land for me too, and i like that its still the same cast from all the other shows but loosening up and doing bits.jurys out for me on penguin of d00m lolrandom daphne though, but tentatively i'm enjoying it. i wish the art was better though....
