When did Family Guy stop being funny?
It's always been hit-or-miss.

For me, it's hard to pinpoint an exact moment. I want to say it was more of a decline over the years. That episode where Meg stood up for herself, but then reverted back to being the punching bag was one of the moments that made me not like it. I'm not going to sperg about Seth MacFarlane. He's a talented and smart guy, I just wish he put more effort into his cash cow series.

Only the episodes in 4:3 are funny throughout. The rest of the series is only watchable through cherrypicked gags. Middle seasons (9-14) are full of tryhard shock humor for 13 year olds. Newer seasons are just fucking boring because theyve exhausted all the plots and are too pussy to write a joke thatd actually be funny

Season 11 is when Seth went full hands off from the writing team, the decline in quality is immediately noticeable.
