But it's super lazy to have her entire pregnancy AND the baby getting born in this one segment. With a familiar cartoon story of a pet getting jealous that the baby is gonna replace him - something we've seen before.>But what I'm squicked out over is that there is an EXTENDED Marshall diaper gag that I really do not like. I know a lot in the fandom have a thing about diapers that I do not share. I can't separate this segment from that. I don't want to think about how they'll receive these scenes. The passage of time is even more all over the place than usual. Both segments are basically 9-month jumps, so I guess this is proof the pups and the kids are just ageless, immortal beings. Then to drive the point home, Farmer Yumi dozes off and we get a dream episode about Yukiko being a giant. Aaaand the pups are pretending to be babies. In isolation I don't think I'd be at all perturbed by that but after the weird diaper thing last segment ... bleh. The Japanese is a bit iffy, if not exactly incorrect, and who gives a kendama to a newborn baby?>Overall, I'm left feeling a bit grossed out and confused by S12E10 and it makes me roll my eyes to know anyone on the creative side will just hide behind "Oh, we didn't mean it THAT way!
