The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries premiered on Kids WB. This is widely considered one of the worst Warner Bros Animation Cartoon of the 1990s and is completely forgettable.
>>150349420k... keep me posted
>>150349420If it's so forgettable why'd you remember its anniversary? Or make this thread?
>>150349614To make other anons hate it. This is a bad cartoon that deserves more hate.
>>150349420This and Baby Looney Tunes were the “sick day cartoons”. It was preferable to the baby shit at least.
I am assuming you forgot Baby Looney Tunes because it is even more forgettable, apart from the uproariously bad meddling that created it.As 5/10 as this show was, it had young Granny as a WW2 Allied spy
>>150349731That's the wrong show stupid. Looney Tunes Show came out SIXTEEN years after this.
>>150349420>you now remember they tried bringing this show back
>>150349420I remember that show because where I live it was aired right before DBZ so I always ended watching the last 5 minutes
I loved this show as a kid but struggled with it as an adult. It wasn't bad or anything, I just liked it better as a kid.
>>150349420It's was okay>>150349731Baby Looney Tunes was pretty funny sometimes https://youtu.be/XOmTD7xvl40?si=abghUXixDL4ItG_Y
>>150349420>this shit lasted 5 years and had a direct to video movieGenuinely how? Was it even popular?
I liked it
This show was okay but very bland. I think the concept is good though they just fucked up the part where they had to make it entertaining.Classic styled Looney Tunes I think is just fucked in a TV format anyways though, censorship strips out all the slapstick which is a big part of what even makes these characters fun to watch, and the lower budget naturally doesn't really let them explore that aspect that great either. Everyone working on these shows is too busy trying to recapture the old shorts when I don't think that's even a good direction to go with them to begin with since the original directors were really experimental and rarely looked at their own past.Turning them into a sitcom genuinely was one the better moves they did make even if it's not the direction I'd prefer to see, since that was at least something new for the characters that also fit with the modern landscape. If we had people like Bob Clampett and Chuck Jones at their prime plopped into todays age they would've likely pushed them into something that fit modern culture better also instead of hanging onto the shit they were doing 80 years ago.
>>150352301The last thing I saw related to that movie was thishttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLu9RJy7VDywbbY8ZO7P52UpX5ka5v-9fl
I copied the flood episode of baby looney tunes and flooded my grandmas big bathroom with the sinks, bidet and tub for no reason when i was 4 or 5 because i thought it would be fun. When i regretted it after thinking about it more i tried to have no one enter that room but confessed, dramatically, that there was a huge flood. I had the bidet spraying so hard it fucked up and stained the ceiling and had the water going through everything for hours to make a deep flood on the floor.
>>150349420Really, Anon? It's been 20 years since Loonatics Unleashed debuted on the WB.There, now you know this show exists. I doubt many of you remember it. If you do, it probably exists in the regions of your mind as the embarrassing memories you wish you could forget.
>>150354080One of those shows I forget was real and not a parody
Anyone else found it weird how they would reference Cool Cat in the show by displaying his likeness in certain scenes?
>>150349420I remember watching this, yet I remember nothing.
>>150354633I didn't know who this guy was. But found amusing him showing up in every episode.
I have memories of Granny having a bunch of root beer floats and a dream sequence where she gets captured by Genghis Khan. That’s it, really.
>>150354633>>150354727He only had like two cartoons ever, yet somehow someone in the staff liked him enough to leave Easter Eggs of him in the show.
>>150354701>>150354761The opening was pretty cool.https://youtu.be/d9ItDde68rs?si=mk21Zpbvh8MrGslN
>>150354701>>150354761>>150354881Now for a none captioned version. https://youtu.be/Dj0scE7h_bk?si=-NJ3Gj4NSK74BWN_
>>150354701I remember the theme song. The tune, not the lyrics. Also, wasn't there a Tweety and Sylvester Around the World in 80 Days TV movie?
>>150349420I like the theme song.
>>150355832There was.
>>150349420I found it pretty, what do you kids call it, mid. It's absolutely inoffensive. If it's "one of the worst Warner Bros Animation Cartoon of the 1990s" then congratulations on them having so many high-quality cartoons.I've seen a lot worse, even back in the 90s.
>>150356471It was alright
>>>150349420Ruegger carried 90s WB animation, everything else that wasn’t his shows or DCU was disposable.
>>150349420It was fine.Nothing particularly special but alright to watch.
>>150358540Name 5 funny moments from it.
>>150349420Funny how this and Taz-Mania were really unremarkable and barely remembered. You would think WB would put more effort into shows starring Looney Tunes characters.
>>150360162Making spin-offs of one-note characters is not a bright idea
>>150349420The creators of My Gym Partner's a Monkey were writrers on this. No surprise their cartoon sucked.
>>150349420quack pack was worse
>>150360357MONKEY MONKEY MONKEY MONKEY
>>150349420I had bad taste as a kid, cause for some reason I loved this show.
>>150349420Tweety is a pos
>>150349420Warner just sort of stopped trying around this time and started relying on half assed ideas involving Looney Tunes characters. Pretty much for the next decade after this.
>>150353289Weird thing is, Warner did this like 4 times. Taz-Mania, Sylvester and Tweety, Pinky, Elmyra, & the Brain, and Looney Tunes show. And kinda sorta Duck Dodgers. They kept trying to turn Loney Tunes shorts into a sitcom format comedy with very little slapstick.
>>150349420that show was made for kids and kids alone, the rest were made with adults in mindthe twitterfag is simply seething, just like how teen titans 2003 (made for teens) are still seething at teen titans go (made for kids)
>>150354854I thought he had more than that, like at least 5 or so. But there were a lot of other characters made at the same time using that same Hanna Barbera look that made up a forgotten era of Looney Tunes. Bunny & Clyde, Merlin the mouse, and Spooky.Nickelodeon used to play those shitty 60s shorts back in the 90s.
>>150360162Warner stuff in the 90s tends to be better when they were actually not recycling classic Looney Tunes characters. Even Tiny Toons was a better attempt than just making teen Looney Tunes. Animaniacs and Freakazoid were actually decent ideas. And then around 98 they fell right back into just recycling old Looney Tunes characters again. Then back to Loonatics, Baby Looney Tunes, Lonney Tunes Show, Sylvester and Tweety. No more original ideas like Freakazoid or Pinky & the Brain.(Which is really just more classic styled Looney Tunes type humor in both shows)
>>150361739Duck Dodgers was great, but came out too late. It was in development hell for 6 years, which meant it was never going to succeed.
>>150349680>to make other anons hate itsounds autistic
>>150349420I thought it was harmless background noise, even enjoyed the mysteries some times. The Sylvester trying to eat Tweety plots were each episode were boring and no different to when Tom and Jerry are forced as a side plot in Willy Wonka or Wizard of Oz.It did have some nice coom material, though, like pic related (anyone has an ass shot from her?).
>>150361546Taz-Mania had plenty of slapstick.
>>150362813So did Duck Dodgers
There is zero behind the scenes information about this show. Why did they make a mystery cartoon with Sylvester and Tweety?
>>150349420This show lasted so long, that it actually swtiched from cel animation to digital ink and paint. It's the only 90s WBA cartoon with this distinction.
>>150363803why?
