Something I didn't know but just recently stumbled across that current comic DC Mad Hatter got his problems from taking drugs to try and increase his height (he's 4'8" whereas previous DC comic Hatter was 5'8") and this turned him into a.. sexual deviant. So instead of being mentally unwell cause of schizophrenia.. drugs turned him into a fucking sexual deviant predator.

So fucking dumb.

"Mad Hatter Syndrome" comes from mercury poisoning, where haberdashers used the unique element to decorate hats. Drugs, poisons, and other hallucinogens are associated with Through The Looking Glass. So Jervis going insane from a drug mishap isn't all that out there.

But I do think Mad Hatter is overdue for a definitive story/revamp
