So I just got Batman year one and the dark knight returns. I’m looking to read the whole millerverse. Do I read Batman year one and the dark knight returns and call it a day or…. Do I read the dark knight strikes again and then dk3 master race? Cause the reviews are very mixed on the other 2. What’s your guys opinion on this? Is it worth reading the other 2 and what did you think of them if you did read dk2 and dk3.

>>150362447It's Year One, then All-star, then Spawn/Batman, then DKR the last crusade, DKR, DKSA, and DK the Golden child. DK III wasn't really written by him but slot it between SA and Golden Child if you need to.

It's a fine enough elseworlds story, a bit dated and a little goofy in how hard it tries to be mature but it's worth a read. The sequels are worthless garbage unless you want to study the decline of an author and artist.

There's also Frank Miller's Holy Terror in between Year One and All Star but you have to pretend it's a Batman and Catwoman story as Miller originally planned.
