I like how the author placed a romantic scene between the main characters while keeping it PG-13. I've been enjoying the quality of the dialogue, the pacing of the story, the back-and-forth, and dynamics across all of the characters and their inner monologues. this could frankly serve as a teaching material, every character feel defined and three-dimensional./lit/ can eat its heart out.

Seeing people do all the random bullshit out of mystery dungeon in their comics really clicks with the parts of me that wished pkm had done even just a 'liiitle' bit of aging up and pulling away from the childhood/coming of age monster catching game but nope, pkm is just such a calcified IP. Nothing 'happens' in the anime or games for 30 damn years. I swear this isn't even like rolling timeline fatigue from comics since that stuff at least they makes reboots and quietly recycle arcs and juggled arcs. I like seeing what pokemon are like without humans around. I like that they can have entire lives and communities that don't revolve around humans. You've got a thousand funky superpowered animals and the IP just doesn't actually do anything with it. Memberberries le g1? there was a time when Mewtwo was planned to start a pokemon war on humans and Lugia was going to be a Gaian life goddess. I *want* to see pokemon do stuff of their own innititives, to see them do a fantasy civilization, I want to nkow what kind of reverence that mychical mons receave or who is disabled or not when it comes to having hands or not. What do pokemon eat, what do they wear, how rare are full evos, can they pull an Avatar and have citices sculpted from the ice, the stone or cloud.
