So my dad is a cartoon enjoyer same as me, and at some point during it's syndicated run we watched liberty's kids together. Every time it's brought up he always reminisces on how it was "rebooted" from a show in the late 70's. We both have realized since that this cannot be the case, but since it's brought up every time I've begun to wonder if I can track down what show he was actually remembering, and to that end I'm asking for help. All I've got to go on is as follows:>it was similar enough to liberty's kids to make the comparison>possibly aired on CBS in the late 70's>had some big name actors on the project>was a cartoonAny direction or clue would be appreciated.
Maybe an episode of Mr. Peabody?
History cartoons is a sadly unrepresented genre, but there was a lot of them for the US Bicentennial in 1976Off the top of my head, there's U.S. of Archie and Max the 2000 Year Old Mouse but unless you count Archie as a big star that didn't have a celebrity voice cast
>>150366386There were also the Bicentennial Minutes spots on CBS where celebrities would talk about history but those weren't animated and were like a minute long
