It's hilarious that even today T&M don't take the ship seriously and they're always awkwardly together. The episode is them making lighthearted jokes about the fandom, they don't even portray them as weirdos. But rather, like most of them, as children. And the worst part is that there are people who really take this ship seriously, it was also the memberberries era. That was annoying.
