Arcane season 2 really was that bad, wasn't it?

Its kind of sad. The ideas, the story threads, the animation, it had it all, but you could see it was rushed. It had to skip so many story beats that it just ended up not making too much sense. It felt like they had a story board made, an someone came in and halfway into making the first two episodes told them to cut down the story by a half or more. So they had to shove in the romance, all the character introductions, the split up, the get back together, but nothing had time to develop. So you end up with rebound sex leading to literal betrayal of a whole city, because you could not find the time to show how attached a person is to another. And again, shame, because you could see that the story tellers were competent in the first arcane, and you could also see parts of the plot they had to skip trough. Shame.
