It was kind of a big nothingburger. I haven't kept up with Batman monthlies in a long time so I had no idea Gordon was no longer Commissioner and is now a beat cop and that Alfred was dead.

It didn't particularly grab me or come off as an exciting new approach, but I'll give it time. It sure as hell isn't Absolute Batman, Dark Patterns, or Batman & Robin Year One (which have all been great Batman books lately).

There is a cool cover by Gabriel del' Otto. That's about it since the plot is nonexistent, the art feels rushed and unpolished and worst of all the characterization is retarded
