I hate when writters depict Harley Quinn as a good psychatrist.if she was good at her job she wouldn't be seduceed by the joker to begin with, and if she was professional she would have declined him as a patient the moment she started to have romantic feelings about him.

It's advice I have heard and I have seen to be true first hand with the few Type 1 diabetics I have met and come to know. Type 2s are different however from Type 1s.
In the Mad Love comic by Dini and Timm she wasn't a good psychiatrist and wasn't interested in being one. She slept with teachers to get her degree and was only interested in the Joker for fame, she wanted to write a book on him and become a celebrity psychiatrist like Dr Phil.It's a good villain origin story, but Harley isn't allowed to be a villain anymore.

Harley was always built with the idea she could do better than the joker that she had physical prowess and mentally strong but he was able to twist her. You are meant to root for her to break the cycle which could only be done if she has the skills to do so. Her being smart pays off when she finally does win because she can live a solid life after

I had a guy, in my departament, who skined his GF, after he came back from chechnya (castrated before prisoner swamp). Didn't kill here just walked out of the house and fell asleep in his car drunk. To me Arkham and people in it, isn't ridiculous.

He told me stories of two he worked with first hand with the first being a fairly generic guy who was risk. But one of the big things was you couldn't reveal personal infomation to him, because what he would then do is see if you had kids or neices/nephews through public record and then smugly going into detail what he would do to them if he ever got out. The second pedophole taught my Dad to always check the forensic prior to working with inmates as he was a libshot who believed in rehabilitation. He formed a friendship with a guy and got on good terms, but his coworkers were fucking terrified for his safety told him to check his file. Turned out the guy he was working with not just a sex offender but a serial child rapist who would wait until a boy was alone at a bus stop, fill his own mouth with gasoline and then spray it out of his mouth into the childs face to knock them out before taking them back to his apartment to tie down to a bed frame. The irony was the overtly violent patients were somehow the safest. One guy he worked with was conflict seeking and would always start fights when he needed to take his injections. My dad found out that the guy would always ask how painfull and large the needle was before starting a brawl and that if you exaggerated how nasty the needle was he would get excited and then allow you to administer the medication because he wanted to show how hard or batshit he was. That same guy actually escaped was discovered at a massive road block down town. The mad fucker decided he was a traffic warden and was re-directing traffic everywhere and causing the road block.
