If we go back 10 years back in 2014-2019 period the cartoon roster was absolutely stacked>the loud house>star vs>we bare bears>gravity falls>steven universeAll of these still widely recognized and talked about today but this decade the only thing people talk about are indie stuff like murderdrones, hazbin hotel, helluva boss and the one exception being invincible.

>>150395751Season one of Star Vs The Forces of Evil was one of the few examples of a good-looking beanmouth show, despite using rigged animation there were plenty of wacky movements and expressions that put it more in Wander Over Yonder/Paul Rudish Mickey territory than Steven Universe.But then as the show went on they switched to a stiff lifeless style just like any other generic beanmouth show.Honestly I loved the style STVTFOE season one, it kinda reminds of the art from people like Katie Rice and Potatofarmgirl from around then.

>>150397218>>150397562Yes, the switch from the original studio (I believe it was Mercury) to the generic frogslop style and animation was the first big blow, one of the reasons why I didn't like season 2. Also, we never got to meet or fight these weird robot guys from the intro, so it feels like many season 1 plotlines were abandoned.
