Marcy's behavior is treated as wrong and she learns not to do this. Mabel gets what she wants, then immediately acts like she doesn't want it. Hirsch somehow wrote it backwards. And that's not counting things like "Love God" (Where Mabel is validated for being a judgemental bitch) and "Sock Opera" (Where a boy Mabel missed out on dating is immediately rendered unworthy)
