Had this idea for a while, but what if we make an AU for the X-Men, with brand new mutants (or alternate versions of existing ones who are slightly different).

Like for example, Professor X being like Reigen from Mob Psycho. Instead of mentoring a single esper, he would teach a whole class of mutants.

Alright, I'll pitch in a character concept.
This one is partly inspired from Deltarune, which they'll keep the original name, "Vessel".

This mutant is a mix of Rogue and Mystique, in that through exposure to other people (and mutants), he can mimick their mannerism, physical appearances and even powers. The effect in increased through physical contact, or ingestion of DNA.

The risk though is that too much of a prolonged exposure from a single source they might get stuck in a certain way... like for example becoming a grey clone of the bad guy while fighting them.
