I want an ongoing minor plot where Kitty's powers start misfiring and interfering with any kind of portal, not just the Krakoan ones. I.e. Nightcrawler tries to teleport her but her clothes get left behind, ditto with Magik's transport disc, there's your bare female butt quota. She can still phase through walls but her costume can't for some reason. She's confronted with scenarios where she has to phase to save someone's life, knowing it means she'll end up naked and exposed, naturally she makes the heroic sacrifice.TL;DR she goes to Reed Richards to test the unstable molecules in her costume, turns out her future husbando Franklin has been subconsciously messing with her powers.

X-Factor was a dumb decision back then, but editorial wanted to do it. Nowadays it is like X-Factor on steroids because they have to have EVERY character in one title or another. It is all over the place, overstuffed. You need a main cast and you need to watch that main cast interact and grow. Interaction in a modern X title is impossible because THERE ARE TOO MANY CHARACTERS. Have a smaller team again, be more superheroics with a variety of bad guys and avoid the huge status quo changing shit that just gets reset. Just for a while.
