>>150412614Well, in a way yes, people like and admire a character, they relate to them and the things they say, feel and do, specially when they are young, and they want the character to be happy, so they get upset when their expectations are frustrated.In Finn's case, I think it is specially bad because the character was shown as being young and brash sometimes, but he was also cool and heroic when he needed to be, but they decided to make him sperg out in later seasons, and made him fumble on all his previous relationships.I think they did it to add 'depth' and 'realism' to the character, by making him act more like a teen that doesn't quite know what to do when it comes to relationships, but people still felt frustrated by it.
