GI Robot and Weasel can not and do not interact with anybody in any meaningful way beyond the former becoming friends with Nina, what you can do with them is so inherently limited that they shouldn't have been chosen at all for the team. Flag leaves the group to handle business in America by the halfway point. Victor is a waste of time and space whose connection to the group is Flag out of a misunderstanding, and Bride because of his obsession, and he has one scene in present time with the Bride. Gunn could have replaced Victor with Economous, and Gunn would have end up saving time and money making a dedicated flashback episode for Victor and the scene where Bride shoots down Victor. Dr. Phosphorous has some funny moments but he is just sort of there. Nina and Bride share the most time together, but most of it is the Bride being cynical with Nina trying to be kind. Nina could have been the bonding material that connects all the misfits together but the misfits are barely together, and she got killed off. The climax came off as the Bride doing the deed out of guilt for sending Nina to her death than any semblance of friendship.The next problem is that backstories of a character take up most of a given episode, and if it weren't for the general overarching plot that progressing outside of those backstories, 4 episodes would be utterly worthless because they are for GI Robot and Weasel, characters that cannot do anything with their past, Nina, who dies, and Victor, who isn't part of the team to begin with and his story of healing up so he can stalk the Bride for a century is fucking boring compared to the rest.

Also, the whole show seems to be balanced on a pretty glaring plothole how the FUCK was the princess supposed to destroy the world exactly? [\spoiler] And some of the voice acting performances are pretty bad; they used screen actors to voice the characters so they could reprise their roles if it ever made it to live action, but a few of them just sound very amateurish. Animation is pretty consistent, so there's that.
