like with superman all you'd really have to do is make some legally distinct versions of some non-public domain characters. superhero powers and abilities aren't really protected by copyrights AFAIK and if they are they're not really enforced or protected as shown with the countless superheroes between the big 2 alone that have the exact same powers & abilities.

It was fine. Hood and Bizarro were the emotional core. Artemis looked cool and had like 2-3 nice moments but after that first arc she was a a little bland. Also I headcanon Jason actually killed Penguin and remained on bad terms with Bats forever which would be a perfect ending for the story, I refuse to read anything newer than this from these characters. Penguin died and if anyone esays otherwise, it is the author's headcanon. This is my mantra.
