One of the joys of indie animation is that you’re free to do whatever you want, untouched by executive meddling, so why the fuck is every indie cartoon some kind of furry life of slice slop? Catching Up, Wastelandia, I guess this is more generic trash for the pile.

Steven Universe really did a number on this generation of artists, now every animator wants to make some soft, sensitive, edgeless cartoons with theater kid songs in them. This is nicely made but I'm just tired of cartoons like this.

Oh boy, another animated short film. I sure hope it's not a boring queer sobfest like every other short film that gets posted here.

It's okay. No complaints about the animation here, it's smooth and no jankyness. Writing could be stronger, like yeah her buying the toys was bankrupting her but I think they could have leaned harder into her desperation, she should look more disheveled and tense and instead of beefing with another nerd the scene should have been her shoplifting. The character designs are very rounded out so I actually was caught of guard when the Aubrey slashed the Triceratops guy. I will not deny I like Aubrey's design but they should have kept her hands sharp. That being said I don't think think the average /co/mrade will like it .

As much as I hate the annoying jeffyfag, a broken clock is right twice a day. This was bland and boring, and the troon voice was distracting as hell and sounds like a clown.
