Batman won
>>150434400Whay, did he finally kill or reform the joker? That's the only way he can win
>>150434400There is no evidence that Batman sold 500k. That's a made-up number.
>>150434400>ordered by comic stores for the blind bagComics are essentially Labubus now get used to it
>>150434400ButAtWhatCost?
>>150434400won what?
>>150434918That would imply that have an audience at all.
>>150434400>Robin's cocksleeve>winning anything
>>150434400what's a SOOK?
>>150435064A misspelled slur.
>>150434400What's a Sook copy?
>>150434400The art sucks ass, shame on Jimenez
>>150434400It didnt sell 500k. You probably believe absolute shit sold well too. Self reported numbers from DC. not sales. Just fake print totals from books they pulp because they ahve contracts that require specific numbers they cant reach.
>>150434400Amazing Spider-Man sells 48k copies per issue (according to Thinking Critical https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhes_KVBYH0), though the real number is probably even lower because it lists stores' orders rather than actual sales. Batman is slightly more popular than Spider-Man now, sure, but there's no way that even the #1, especially with Fraction's name on the cover, sold more than 120–130k copies, even with all the variant covers etc.
>>150434400>we sold 500k comics to about 50.000 collectors who all got the 10 diffrent variant covers
>>150436612>Amazing Spider-Man sells 48k copies per issuewhy is the comic even still called Amazing Spider-Man?Spider-Man is barley in it and when he isn't really amazing and instead constantly gets beaten up, rescued or ordered around by some girlboss or minority character who is the real hero of the story.
>>150436720>Spider-Man is barley in itI'm pretty sure he's still a human in it, though.

I really disliked it, I hate how they're pushing this fake positivity everywhere now. Well, maybe it suits Superman somewhat, but the Batman I grew up with is a creature of the night, dressed in black or dark gray, balancing on the brink between law and crime. No Man's Land is probably my favorite Batman story arc, and Fraction is doing the exact opposite, which already makes me hate his run even more than Zdarsky's or King's. I want Batman to be a threat, to strike fear into his enemies, I don't want him to be a do-gooder who talks to AI ghosts and saves super-criminals from themselves.

Well, maybe it suits Superman somewhat, but the Batman I grew up with is a creature of the nightThe absurd thing is they already had/have Nightwing for this sort of story tone, and I'll even throw in Jason via Roy Harper having Croc as his sponsor that one time, and Cass after that phase with her rehabilitating Clayface. There's no need for Bruce to line up behind them too.
