There was absolutely nothing wrong with this
Why is Kyle so forgettable?
love my women in refrigerators
>>150436820 First degree murder is not a problem ?
we went from this>>150436820 to this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Vagina_Monologues because women are children
>>150436820Murder and Abuse of a Corpse are crimes.
>>150436820Gail was right. The problem with this scene is the cheap storytelling. Alan Moore himself had already talked about this cheap type of storytelling in comic books. In several of his stories before Gail Simone's essay
>>150436820There isnt. And it was when people did think it was wrong were allowed to run the show thst comics started really going to shit.
>>150436820Simone does NOT got enough shit for the absolute mental poison "fridging" spurned
>>150437521>>150437554on no my feelingsshut the fuck up and watch teletubbies
>>150437593Teletubbies would 100% commit abuse of a corpse.
>>150436820So cheesy.
>>150436820>There was absolutely nothing wrong with thisYeah, using deaths of side characters to give problems to the main character is a tradition older than Uncle Ben's death. The whole thing was just Gail Simone's ploy to extort DC into giving her a job so that she stops calling them bigots online. She was an innovator in that regard.
>>150436820So true>>150437500Agree
>>150438015Uncle Ben in the original run of Spider-man was a nothing character that only served to get killed to motivate the protagonist. Fridging is just lazy story telling. If you take away the "sexist" aspect of it, the real concern would be repetitive storytelling and cheap shock value
>>150438271>cheap shock valueThat right there is my real problem with the Alex DeWitt fridging. We'd only known her for like 5 issues, so it was hard to care when she got offed.
