>discussion dead alreadyit seems like these crossovers won't be as popular as Marvel no DC were expecting. No idea why they thought it would be a good idea to do physical only releases.
>>150437705The Wonder Woman/Captain America part was cool.
>>150437705Shit writing (except for Cap/WW) no set up, no stakes, really, really shit jokes, it was garbage. Reminds me how shit and just how low the bar is for comics now.
>>150437705Or limit actual crossovers to Deadpool and batman
>>150437705I read the Batman/Deadpool crossover. It's was extremely "OK". I am unaware if there were past issues explaining how Deadpool got there but he just kinda jumped out of nowhere, crashed into Bruce's home and did his gimmicky Deadpool jokes. The only entertaining thing about it was seeing Deadpool consuming the Joker serum. I'm going to continue reading it when they release the next issue. I want the Marvel/DC crossovers to be good.
>Deadpool over SpidermanYeah I wonder why no one gives a shit
>>150440561spider-man has met batman before. this is more of a novelty as deadpool has never met batman before. also current spider-man is kind of a cuck
>>150440561They already did Spider-Man/Batman back in the 90s, and it set such a high bar than nobody in the industry today could possibly live up to it. Using a different Marvel character that normies like was a way of avoiding negative comparisons to a previous crossover.
>>150437705Why were the stories so short? Why not make them into full issues?
>>150440857my theory is they couldn't affordsome of the talent. Terry Dodson and others probably would charge too much to draw full issues
>>150440779>this is more of a novelty as deadpool has never met batman before.Nobody cares, Brevoort. It's Spiderman. Should Sonic stop crossing over with Mario because of Smash and the Olympic games as well?>also current spider-man is kind of a cuckNobody cares about 616's trash books either
>>150441121another reason is likely because of how much money the third deadpool movie made
