I feel like all Disney Afternoon shows have a very specific flavor that doesn't necessarily exist anywhere else. The layouts and movements do not feel Japanese compared to literally anything that is entirely made in Japan. It feels like the storyboards and directions were basically all American, but the bulk of the painting labor was Asian (yes, amazing observation, I know). But you get my point, right? It's pretty hard to express, but all Disney Afternoon shows feel a certain way that is not just "country made x". Americans can't board for shit, and these mediocre shows would be better if they were actually Japanese, but that's another epic hot opinion that I can't say.
