I was fine with the first 2 being a bit slow because they were re-establishing the characters and where they are at in their lives now, making it clear where it fits in this new DCU, and setting up Chris's problem for the season. Episode 3 felt pretty good on Chris's side with him finally going to the alt-world and getting some good scenes of him being a badass. Episode 4 though really did feel like padding. We ended pretty much right back where episode 4 started with Argus about to sneak attack Chris and Michael Rooker hunting Eagly. Nothing really progressed they just changed locations.
Eagly will die this episode.

Otherwise there's no reason for him to not start checking the other 98 doors for other worlds to move to next.

I think without a shadow of a doubt this is a season that is much better on a binge watch than weekly releases. There is not enough going on for weekly viewers to get hooked on and it just feels like the show is spinning its wheels until it gets to the good part. Most people have already realized the big twist so you don’t even have that going for you.This is probably why it got such good reviews from screeners who saw the first 5 episodes. Seeing them all at once probably works way better for the pacing, as you don’t care that it’s delaying the inevitable because you don’t have to wait weeks to see nothing happening.
