>>150445069how many of the original 10 managed to escape that fate? grey matter, iirc, is still the smartest alien ben has so he's okay. heatblast is still his only true fire-based alien (i don't think swampfire is as powerful as heatblast is with fire). upgrade has such a unique niche that there's not really a concern. i know ben has other fast aliens, but iirc xlr8 is still his fastest. the others have been outclassed though i think big chill mostly does what ghostfreak does + has ice powers. iirc, chromastone was just a more powerful version of diamondhead. jetray is like stinkfly but faster. humungousaur is strong like four arms but can also get bigger. and, while i can't remember now, wildmutt and ripjaws were also probably outclassed considering their niches aren't really that unique. even some of the additional ones from the og series got outclassed. swampfire doesn't beat out heatblast, but i think he beats out wildvine. and echo echo is obviously just a cooler ditto
