No thanks.
>>
>>150450323
please elaborate, I’m actually genuinely curious to hear
>>
>>150450281
Cool, gonna skip most of it and watch exclusively the Louvre scene
>>
>>150450341
Human in cartoon world is inherently more humourous than cartoons in human world.
>>
>>150450359
You know what, that’s totally fair
>>
>>150450342
That scene clears the entire rest of the movie, hands down
>>
>>150450323
Eh, they're both flawed movies but at least Back in Action is actually a Looney Tunes movie instead of an extended Nike commercial. I do not give a shit about basketball.
>>
>>150451295
that’s true

On that note, I’m glad Space Jam 2 flopped; there’s a lesser chance of them ever making a third one
>>
>>150450281
Boomerang and Duck Dodgers were all that was needed to bring back the Looney Tunes in my eyes. Pure kino. Weird how those and this movie were like the only real serious attempts in the 00's. Felt like they were coasting from the 90's WB cartoons. But seeing BTAS, STAS, Justice League, Teen Titans, and Looney Tunes stuff at Six Flags in the form of mascots and merch was cool. Guess it's just nostalgia on my part cause I was kid but that definitely explains why it felt bigger to me back then.
Anyway, there are some good parts to this movie but the characters just overact at points and the jokes can be bottom of the barrel puns or kid joke fodder.
>>
>>150450339
It is 2025, what are you doing
>>
>>150452082
praying to GOD next year’s flick somehow averts the bad puns, but I’m not counting on it lol
>>
>>150452104
The jokes will be reheated gags and classic references, it’ll be great
>>
>>150450281
make sure you don't link this so people have to sit through dozens of unrelated youtube shorts when they look it up

Does /co/ remember the terrible Larry Doyle produced shorts that were meant to be released alongside Back in Action? It was scrapped when BIA flopped. Only 6 were made, but they are some of the shittiest Looney Tunes media out there.
>>
>>150452139
microwaved violence, my favorite!!
>>
>>150452082
all that was actually needed to bring back Looney Tunes was to show them on TV again, like on The WB stations during the evening news or something
>>
The scene in the art museum is an absolute highlight.

It's one of those parts that makes me wish it would keep on going, or be an episode of it's own.
>>
>>150452214
the Road Runner and Bugs ones are ok

The rest suck all kinds of ass in one way or another
>>
>>150452214
I do remember that Duck Dodgers short. Remember when Zoidberg from Futurama made a cameo appearance in Looney Tunes? That short right there
>>
>>150450312
>>150450331
lol
>>
>>150452858
The big problem with these shorts is how utter shit they look for what is supposed to be theatrical shorts. The Duck Dodgers TV cartoon looks a million times better than this.
>>
>>150452214
I thought the Bugs and Daffy shorts were alright. The Foghorn and Porky ones were baaaad.
>>
>>150452888
Even as a kid, the short confused me because I thought this was canon to the actual Duck Dodgers TV show or it served as some pilot, it wasn't either. Yes, the Duck Dodgers show was so much better in every single way, and not just visually, even in the comedic aspect, it was so good
>>
>>150450281
This whole movie could've worked without the human leads. Picture it:

Daffy gets fired. His dad is a spy. Daffy runs away. Bugs needs Daffy back. The two get involved in a globe-trotting manhunt around the world. Easy fix. If you can't write the leads out, make Lola the cold executive. Brendan Fraser is a great actor but his role can easily be split between Bugs and Daffy. Steve Martin can stay but make him an original animated character. I'd even be fine with the live-action world regardless of an all-animated cast.
>>
>>150453001
I think Brendan Frasier does the job nicely interacting with Bugs and Daffy as he does well with animated characters before in a live-action (as he did with George of the Jungle, Monkeybone and both Mummy and Mummy Returns)
>>
Space Jam is better.
>>
>>150453069

>>
>>150453069
nigga how
>>
>>150453041
He does a great job! But he and Jenna take up so much of the movie that it leaves Bugs and Daffy fighting for attention in their own movie. I enjoy this movie a lot, but I have to wonder if there's a version of this movie that might work more with a reduced role for Brendan Fraser.
>>
>>150450331
Everyone wants to fuck him, but getting fucked by him while he is in drag is much hotter
>>
Who cares if Back in Action is better than Space Jam or viceversa? Both are good movies.
>>
>>150450281
Loved this move as a kid
>>
>>150450281
This was a masterpiece of cinema that I remember watching at the kinoplex. Anyone who doesnt/didnt like it must have had a terrible childhood and was probably molested as a kid.

And I am sorry for that

Does anyone actually watch movies on Youtube? It always felt unnatural to me
>>150452082
>Weird how those and this movie were like the only real serious attempts in the 00's.
It was because nobody saw this, everything Looney Tunes got shafted and we got Loonatics instead
It's a good movie but it didn't make money
>>
>>150456712
Disgusting
>>
For movies like this and Who Framed Rodger Rabbit I kind of want to look up the "behind the scenes" and learn how they made things move with the characters, but that'll just ruin the magic behind the movie, so I won't.

Why is it always so DIFFICULT to make modern audiences care about Looney Tunes? This has been an ongoing problem for decades now..
>>
>>150458103
People behind newer projects can’t perfectly replicate the greatness of the OGs, this is a natural issue with any kind of media, even the best Modern Looney Tunes stuff can’t beat the classics.

Not to mention how much Looney Tunes projects made from the 90’s-present aren’t really in the spirit of OG Looney Tunes, Space Jam, Back in Action, and the upcoming Coyote Vs. ACME are just "what if Looney Tunes in live action", and I felt like while The Looney Tunes Show was good on its own it’s not really the ideal Looney Tunes everyone knows.

I like stuff like Duck Dodgers and The Day the Earth Blew Up for how they manage to stay closer to the vibe of the OG shorts.
>>
>>150458073
It's far better than Space Jam 2 and The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.

This unironically. I'm so fucking tired of retards presenting failed garbage as misunderstood. Be Cool Scooby Doo isn't good because Velma is shit. It wasn't doing cut away gags but it was basically Detective Guy.

Modern audiences love Lola lewds and femboy Bugs porn. Do something with that.

The only one I’ve seen is the Porky one because I stumbled on some comment online that made me surprised that Porky had a teenage daughter, and it simply did not feel like Looney Tunes.
