That's not to mean that BatKing was well-written, but there were glimmers of quality and the series was at least competent from a pure writing perspective. Snyder's run was entirely moronic from the very beginning, and especially after Endgame it jumped off a cliff and never recovered. It was just a stupid Tumblr BatFam fanfic with some safe horror thrown in there. And Absolute Batman is even worse because it's somehow even more braindead.I seriously cannot understand how Nu52 & Absolute Batman were/are hits. My mind just cannot comprehend it.
