I finally found out about Asterix in highschool when I was taking french classes and I really got into him in college. I watched a few of the films online as well and they're just plaim fun. I dont know why that didnt catch on, either we had a glut of westerns so it just got drowned out or people were tired of the glut on westerns and ignored it deliberatly. On that note, France is still making banger westerns to this day and the fact we let them without making any of our own is one of my biggest gripes with this country. The western is a quintessential part of Americas identity and we're out here letting other countries do it bettet than us. DISGRACEFUL!!!
