That kind of character is constantly present on the literary scene.A hard part about reading into literally anything Moore says is that he only really started having those sentiments when DC burned him over the Watchmen rights. You go before that and he's rather enthusiastic about it all. You can even find him talking positively about Frank Miller in the leaks regarding "Twilight of the superheroes."A lot of his "this medium is only for children" stuff only really started when he himself became disillusioned with the major companies.
