It's not that bad.I never liked Waid's Batman voice, the banter in general is a little cheesy, and the plot is a tad contrived, but it's pretty solidly written for a modern cape comic. It's a strong 5/10, also thanks to Samnee. What do you guys think about it?
>>150497625Who said it's bad? This is one of the better capeshit books on the stands. Solid 8/10

>>150497625Despite what Waid thinks, Dick will never be interesting.
>>150497625>I never liked Waid's Batman voiceIt generally works really well for me if I read it with Kevin Conroy's voice in my head, it's very close to Batman's dialogue in the DCAU, especially early Batman The Animated Series.
>>150502603I disagree.I can't imagine Conroy Batman saying things like>Good Lord, what's wrong?or>I managed to Wayne the principalbut it's been a while.
>>150500897>>150502157Stop this bullshit
>>150503406>I managed to Wayne the principalYeah, that's way too modern for BTAS Batman. He'd definitely say "schmooze" or "chat up" or the like.
Samnee is so good that people don’t realize or appreciate it. That spread in issue 2 that’s a cross section of Gotham, good lord
>>150497625Why does this exist when we already have Robin Year One? Is it some weird effort to erase Chuck Dixon?
