The structure is also insecure, should've picked its lane and focused entirely on the two main characters without showing olivia, keeping her as a reveal for the second or third act of the show. That time could've been used to set up an action scene that lets the main characters actually... do something ? That is not just flopping around and getting bullied by other characters, so that we can actually understand what's exciting and aspirational about them.Digital circus still has the most effective pilot of any web serie, I would say. Perfectly introduces the premise and the characters, as well as acts as an introduction to the general structure of the show (episodic, focused on adventures dreamed up by the crazy AI). After KoG's pilot I still have no idea what the show is going to be like, which is... bad.

Serious question Anons, did Dana Terrace overshoot her shot by staging the Sun Knight/Sir Arthur against Punished Gwen too early or did she deliberately did this to check off some D.E.I checklist and doesn't particularly care too much about minor male characters? I say this because the Sun Knight vs Punished Gwen fight feels like a event that would happen at around at least in episodes 6-7 within a series and threats would start off minor before escalating to bigger threats as time goes on. Just saying that Old Olivia should have sent Cyborg Spec-Ops after Punished Gwen first as a good low-tier enemies. There's also the fact that when a Minor character shows up they tend to sometimes leave an impression on the fans that would nearly instantly become fans of so what I'm saying is I want more Sun Knight screentime and while we might get more scenes of him during flashbacks and his grotesque appearance in contrast with the Moon Knight, it's a bummer that he got taken out so early. Like we could have had future scenes of the Sun Knight taking out raising pirates out in space while defending Park Planet or singlehandedly taking out a escaping transporter ship filled with half escaped workers/citizens. And when the score sucks, people tend to feel like the episode falls flat. The best scores are usually the ones that don't call attention to themselves but do their job in service of the story. But yes, that is very different from actual songs (implying singing). I think a song during a montage sequence is fine since information is being conveyed to the audience without dialogue so it's a great place for music to take center stage, but if characters break out into song and dance in every episode I'm probably going to skip it.
I still fucking love this. Because this is absolutely just a 1:1 transposition of a real thing that happened. While I do quite enjoy the characters, themes, and animation, Dana's surgically on-point seethe is a big part of the entertainment value for me.
