The thing about Gotham is that it went from being just a crime-ridden city like the hundreds that exist today to being a literal cursed hellhole warzone that has an apocalyptical event every two weeks.

If worldbuilding doesn't matter, why does it matter that Gotham is an unrealistically shitty place to live in? How can one man hold both these stances?Methinks all those drugs messed with Morrison's brain. Or, more plausibly, like all celebrities, he just says shit in his inteviews to get attention without thinking too much about contradicting himself.
