The Cartoon Network rennaissance came about when Frederator released Random Cartoons! which featured, among others, Adventure Time. (Frederator and now Fred Films has always been a "Creator First" incubator). I was skeptical, but I think with Glitch pushing into licensing their properties to mainstream streaming networks, they really do have a good shot at becoming the next thing to majorly shake up the industry. If dickbag execs are dead set on chasing trends, let's hope that "hiring creative people and then getting the fuck out of their way so they can create" will be one of them.
