What’s the best way to read comics, idk if I can read ALL of them from classic to modern.

I’m left a little stumped honestly

While hanging upside down from the ceiling with your head in a bucket of cold porridge. And you'd better not put any sugar in that porridge!

Find a comic that seems cool and read it. No point in overthinking it

find piracy site and look for comic that you are interested in, then read

Ignore capes, only read indie and Vertigo comics. Maybe read Euro comics if you know British English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German. That's basically it.

don't read all of them. you don't need to in order for modern comics to make sense. to be honest there is a lot of filler that was never brought up again or was lost to time in all of these characters' histories. just look up reading lists and read the most impactful arcs, runs and storylines for each series or character, and that should build a solid image in your head of what that character is all about without having to read everything. here's an example for 616 spider-man.

Ask a friend about some good stories. If you don't have a friend ask the internet.

You have two choices
>Start from the start
Start from the start, or at least the silver age, then read forward. You don't have to read everything across the entire line, but if you read the main title for the character you like you'll know pretty much everything you need to. Some characters get secondary books so just pick those up as they come too
>Start from anywhere you like and get reading
Literally just pick a comic and read it. Maybe search for some classic runs on characters if you want something of a jumping on point, but either way you'll just have to accept that it's gonna reference things you don't know. Either roll with it or look it up if it interests you. Anything from the late 70s to 80s is usually a good place to start

I'm a read from the start guy myself

Hellblazer, Doom Patrol, Animal Man, Asterik, Lucky Luke, anything else?

You know this makes me ask: could I read the entire epic collection for spidey or the fantastic four is are they only specific issues?

Blacksad, Sky Doll, Nikolai Dante, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Acme Novelty Library

I like Unwritten, but it's for /lit/ nerds.

I think you should be safe with those, for the crossover storylines they include the crossover issues too.

Yeah I’m going for latter.

Right now I’m looking at:
FF, X-MEN, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Iron Man, Avengers, and GOTG. and maybe a few others like the micronauts and whatever else I could find.
Maybe silver surfer?

Read what looks good. Stick to writers and artists instead of characters.

I miss Hulkbuster for blatant cop posts like this
