Because the last fight had the thugs suffering pretty solidly life-ending injuries but all they said is that they're on life-support. The only definitive death seems to be the guy that had the bullet ricochet back into his head, but that wasn't deliberate, however, helmet guy had his god damned helmet cracked and the extent of his head trauma censored, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the second death.
