Cartoon Network must've held things back because they were so laser-focused on timing their "multi-platform launch" with the console game and bonus shorts and whatnot. OK K.O. wasn't allowed to just exist as a TV show.

Character designs are great and I love the commitment they had to never staying on model with the characters. Makes it feel way more organic than most “beanmouth” stuff.I think the issue is the show never really figured out exactly what it was trying to do. One minute it was like a preschool PSA then the next it was trying to have serious character moments.
